Designer Tom Binns has created som Alic in Wonderland inspired jewllery just in time for the new Tim Burton Version coming to our cinemas! I am very excited about the film....not so much about the jewellery!

I do love these new ads that Kate Bekinsale has done but i can hardly see what she is advertising! the pictures are all so vibrant that it is too difficult to see any product!!

Scarlett goes Bazaar

I have recently been growing to Scarlet Johansan, when she did the Mango campaign she looked great and i must admit in the new edition of Harpers Bazaar she is looking incredible! Still not too sure about her acting though, any thoughts?

Tassels and the boho style have been around for a few seasons now and it looks to be carrying on to spring summer 2010! Camilla Skavgaard has comeout with these amazing tassel shoes what do you all think??? i like them but would never wear them!!!!

Luella Long Gone!

Sad news has reached the fashion world - Luella is officially ceasing trading. Despite having a huge celebrity following from the likes of Kate Moss and Lilly Allen Luella has become the latest fashion casualty of the recession. It seems Club 21 had withdrawn their financial backing and so Luella Bartly ltd has been forced to finish! Sad times, ! love Luella!!

Lady McQueen

A while ago I spoke about the crazy footwear Alexandre McQueen sent down the runway for Spring/Summer 2010, however it seems he has a huge fan in the form of Lady Gaga. She has actually recreated his entire look in her new video 'Bad Romance'! Amazing! I think she is one of only a few that could ever look good in this!

A while ago i blogged about Katy Perrys amazing Oompa Loompa nails now i have found her with Swarovski crystal nails! I am so jealous....who is her nail technician???????

Nose Cozy!

Ok, these winter fads are starting to get rediculous....the snood was fine, the knee warmer i could cope with but a nose warmer - please..it makes you look like a mouse, not a hot look! They are called the 'Nose Cozy' i would say 'No - crazy! not happening i will cry if this becomes a trend what has happened to the fashion world!

Paper chain!

A recent fashion exhibition in Antwerp, i believe it was the Momu showed designes from many up and coming artists but the one that stood out was Jum Nako. All designs made out of paper!!! Incredible, it must have taken so much time and patience - really a raw talet i am very impressed!!!

Twitter tights!!

I know there has been a huge twitter following but surely this is going too far? Twitter tights!!!!!! You can now get tight with twitter on them trying to get people to follow you.....this could be slightly dangerous if it is taken literally, i think the law calles that stalking!!!!Still i wonder if u can get them made with your individual twitter account on them? how fun!

Lindsay 6126 Leggings!

I have never been the biggest fan of celebs turning to fashion but Lindsay Lohan has just released her new range of leggings called 6126 and i love them! i am a big legging fan anyway but these are amazing and quite reasonably priced, they are not crazy celeb prices which is always good!!

McQueen dust it again!

I dont think it is any secret that i am a huge Alexander McQueen fan! I also love an oversized over the top accessory and the fashion genius has gone and done it again with this knuckle duster! I know, knuckle dusters are a bit getto, again i could not pull it off but it is amazing!!!

I am so excited about Nicole richies new fashion line, pics have started to come out now from some of her creations. I love her style so am hoping for some great things from 'Winter Kate'.

I just read about this book coming out called 'This is why you're fat: Dreams become heart attacks'. This alone sounds grim but then mcdonalds have created this drink for the book called a 'mcnuggetini' it is s chocolate milkshake with vanilla vodka rimmed with bbq sauce and garnished with a chicken mcnugget! seriously what are people thinking that is grose!!!

UN Ambassador!!

This is insane....Tinkerbell as in the cartoon fairy we know and love has been named a UN ambassador her full titile is 'Honorary ambassador of green' she is set to promote taking care of the environment! is it only me that thinks this is beyond crazy i mean it is a cartoon....insane!!!

Over the weekend i went to see the Michael Jackson film.....i dont know what i was expecting really but it was amazing! i had tickets for his 02 show and from watchig the film can honestly say the show would have been out of this world. It is clear that he was very talented i loved his music! Has really made me want to go to the exhibition at the 02 so will blog how that is!!

Eyeflashes!

Artist Soomi Park has created LED eyelashes - these are amazing, they really draw attention to the eyes!!! One step further than false eyelashes the mercurey sensor turns the LED lights on and off when triggered by a tilt of the head! Great for costume parties and raves but for the average shopping trip i am not so sure!!!

Really Rolf?!?!

Viktor & Rolf i think are often genius' when it comes to fashion. The have churned out some amazing designs over the years but this time i am not so sure?! The recent calwalk show in Paris displayed acollection that looked somewhat cut up and moth eaten! on the plus side - against a black background the model apears to be in half.....magic!!!!

Marry me Ines!

Now, i am never usually one for the fussy big wedding idea but i just came across the new Ines Di Santo show in New York and looking at these diamond incrusted wedding dresses i suddenly want to find price charming....!

Tube flop!

Has anyone yet seen the creation known as 'Tube Flops' rumour has it a few celebs are alredy donning the trend but i personally think not! For those who have not already seen it is a tube sock attached to a flip flop....perhaps it is just a branch off from the leg warmer trend we have recently seen hitting the high street. i am not sure yet if this is just a fad or i fear it will become a trend!

Shoetub!

Now i am fashion crazy and like every girl i have a massive shoe collection but i just found this and i think maybe this shoe is going too far for any girl......It is a bath tub made in the shape of a shoe!!!I know it is crazy but at the same time i think amazingly cool!!! Italian designer Massimiliano Della Monaca created the shoe shaped bath tub and it is covered in mosaic glass. So fun!

Oompa Loompa!

I dont know if anyone has seen any of the celeb news and gossip recently but Katy Perry had a charlie and the chocolate paint themed birthday.....i was so jealous it looked so much fun, then i saw that at the party you could get Oompa loompas painted on your nails.....how cool i really want some does anyone know where i can get some???? i am guessing they are just transferrs but still i really want some!!!!

Edible Fashion

Fashion in Paris has always been inventive, some of the most creative designers showcase their designs in Paris....but have they gone a little too far this year? A catwalk show of chocolate dresses? Dont get me wrong they are amazing designs but under all the light etc would they not melt? Or if it was me walking down the catwalk i would easily have a little snack as i walk!!!

Well I Kneever!

Vanessa Bruno has churned out the latest fashion craze in Paris recently - the knee warmer! I know the what?????? At what point in winter do u stop and think oh my knees are cold? well i never do! hands feet ears neck nose even but knees? i always wear trousers or tights in winter anyway...it is just a litte bazzar to me! I suppose there are plus sides though....cover knobbily knees go bare legged still when it is cold, also very 80's which remains the force of the high street but i am not too convinced!

Tim Burzaar

TIM BURTON has teamed up with Harpers Bazzar for a special October Halloween edition. I have always thought Tim Burton has the most amazing imagination when it comes to the big screen, I know I am so excited to see his portrayal of Alice In Wonderland coming out early next year. Now he has taken on the fashion world too!! I think the shoot is mind blowing, I am loving every inch of it, I only wish I was involved in the creation! It will easily be an edition to save! 

London Fashion Week

London Fashion Week is now in full swing. I have been working behind the scenes to bring the biggest and the best news for the upcoming fashion season. So far for the layout of the week there are three main areas. The catwalk tent complete with a vip lounge where the elite can pick up copy of 'The fashion daily news' and have their hair and make up done whilst waiting for the shows. A new gen area showing all collections and growing fashion talent sponsored by the British Fashion Council and the third is '180 The Strand' an array of exhibitions from designers all over the globe. I have spotted many of the celeb world treading the cobbles of Somerset House even one Mr Borris Johnson- that was slightly exciting but as ever it is all about the new collections on the catwalk. Today my day was made as i stepped into the Jasper Conran show full of cream and silver. His signature delicate and feminine style exuded from every garment complete with frills and lace some masterpieces for the summer. 

The catwalks are spread over the centre of town so I will do my best to update as the week continues. 

Are you Fur real?

Styling guru Rachel Zoe has just launched her new clothing and accessories line for QVC. I am such a huge fan of hers, i adore the boho style. She does however always wear a lot of fur which i personally love but together with Anna Wintor, another fur lover, are they now making it acceptable to don the real fur again? So many people have fought against real fur in fashion for such a long time it is crazy to think that just these two people can suddenly make it ok again. I am all for faux fur, but real fur i may have to draw the line. 

September issue update

AMAZING! If you are a fashion fanatic like me this documentary is exactly what you need! if however you do not like fashion it will be 90 mins of boredom! It really is the real life Devil wears prada with Anna Wintor as an ice woman! well worth watching!  

PRPS loves Start

I headed to the launch party of the new Start store in Old Street the other night. If you like retro clothing you will love love this store. They joined forces with PRPS, a New York based fashion brand and pulled out all the stops for the party. I even spotted Henry Holland and Sadie Frost i am truly hob nobbing with the best now!!

Fox in Wonderland

I think the title pretty much explains the post but i came across the new shoot for Megan Fox in Wonderland magazine. She always seems to look pretty but i love the edge she has in these pictures. As pretty as she is i do think it is all for a bit of attention, the article goes on to tell us how she hates fame and does not like anyone looking at her etc,etc...yet there is often a picture of her half naked and strutting! A contradiction i do believe! Still i would strut if i looked like her! 

September Issue

VOGUE has finally let cameras behind the scenes, allowing all access to the creation of this fashion bible. As we all know September is the beginning of the fashion year, new shows new lines new everything, so what better month than September to release the sought after documentary. As an english fashion follower i always seem to go immediately for the english Vogue but the short film follows the American magazine and the editor Anna Wintour. I am really excited about this though. American programmes are always so much more dramatic! This is going to be so big, it even already has its own website. It is only in select cinemas from the 11th September but i am off to see it friday - to rite an article- hard times. I will post my finished verdict!

America's Next Top Judge

America's Next Top Model completely rules my television. I am now counting down the days until the next season. There has already been a lot of controversy surrounding the next season such as fights at auditions, apparent arrests and now the introduction of Lauren Conrad and Kim Kardashian to the judging panel. I can understand Lauren, she has a fashion background and a clothing line but Kim really? I am sure whatever happens the season will be full of surprises, i can't wait!

Bloody Barneys

BARNEY'S New York window displays have been causing outrage amongst shoppers. The concept was 'Dress To Kill' but some thought the displays went a little too far. The mannequins posed as if they were fending off attackers. I love the whole thing myself. I think fashion should always be original and edgy but i can understand it would creep little children out! Still even through the red splattered windows we can still appreciate the stunning dresses from Helmut Lang and A.L.C.

Green Gaga

Now I always love Lady Gaga and her ability to pull off any outfit but i feel this time she may have gone slightly too far. An entire jacket made of Kermit the frogs!!!! who even thinks up this stuff??!!!!!

Pattern Panic!

From tie dye to zig-zag, floral print and union jack it is all about prints this season. Even though in the fashion world summer is coming quickly to an end pattern is not! The 80's influence on fashion has been a long time revival and it is now in full swing. This might be the only chance for a while to be able to relive the 80's and actually get away with teaming so many crazy pattern together, so do it, go wild! 

Stone the crows...a size 8?

LARA STONE is the headline for all fashion broadsheets and blogs at the moment. Not only is she a focus because she opened for JEAN-PAUL GAULTIER and closed for CHANEL at the Paris couture shows, but she is a SIZE 8!!! I am so happy about this, of course many of you are thinking size 8 is not big at all, but it has to show us that the fashion world is moving  further away from skinny and finding realistic women! Lets  just hope it continues!
